Thanks to all excavation crew who have applied for work on the N18 Oranmore-Gort Road Project. We have now suspended recruitment as we have sufficient applicants.

Anybody who has already applied will be contacted within the next two weeks (by the end of January) to let you know whether you are being offered a job or not. Please do not ring the Cork office to enquire about your application or send any further emails as they will not be processed.

Eachtra commenced test excavations on this road project in 2007 and the main excavation phase is due to commence in February 2008. We are recruiting licensed directors, and have now suspended the recruitment of extra excavation crew. We have been inundated with job applications and ask that all future applicants use email only to contact us (jobs(at)eachtra.ie). Please do not ring the Cork office as the recruitment is not being run from there.

When submitting an email application include your CV along with contact details for at least two referees (do not say references can be made available if required - they are required). Licensees available for short and long term excavations are welcome. Excavation methodology takes place within a landscape archaeology approach. Field data (text and drawings) are digitized and GIS analysed during the excavation.
